usually about 2-3 weeks mate, but i bought a new car this year and it took 2 months to get it back!

im changing mine to a 1600. will i be able to tax it as a 1600 with the wee green slip even tho that probably says its a 1.2

you walk into a dvla office with the doncuments to be changed and your current tax disk and they will do the forms for you to be sent off and give you an updated tax disk

think they say allow upto 6 weeks. the last few cars iv bought only took about 2-3 weeks tho
