had a day off yesterday and after finishing kts car!!!
so descided to tidy wheels up on the astra cos i had kurbed them! so whipped them off and had some gloss black paint left over in the shed, so few hours latter and 3 coats of paint they were done!!!
then today this afternnon i whipped the lights off and covered them in few layers off black with lots of laquer in to give them smoked effect but u can stiull c fine out of them and they have the E mark also - lol
looks quite different will get some betta pics of the wheels soon was getting dark when i took the pics!!
BEFORE:-

AFTER :-

wot u guys think?? i am starting to like the black wheels, just look so shiny in the flesh! and love the front lights!!!

well nopt sure if they are gonna last the test of time yet, i just rubbed them down to make them little rought! then coated them in few layers of mostly laquer and little bit of black paint in with it! so its vertually clear so light still passes though

ok fair play to you on the wheel job, looks good. Just see too many modified cars where people have taken halfords spray paint and done a bodge job.

i spray all my wheels with halfords spray can!dont mean its a bodge job though.if u know how to paint u can get a good finish doesnt matter if its aerosol or not.and just because u dont have a spraying company doesnt mean u aint a pro.
