hi there, i've just had a conversion from 1.28v to 1.6 16v (x16XE) fitted and was having the velos torque tube fitted at the same time. The thing is its really fouling up against the bulk head and the guy doesnt think it is going to fit in. Any one had this trouble before and know how to resolve it? Its a torque tube from velos and not a copy so it should be a spot on fitment. Is it anything to do with it going on a car that has had the engine transplanted into it (the engine bay different shape on 1.2 8v?). Please help.

odd one that one, i cant see how it wont fit, there should be plenty of room back there once all the old inlet is ripped out. unless the engine hasnt been mounted properly...

thats what i thought, but the engine is definately mounted right.. once the torque tube is fitted it pshes the engine forward, which isn't normal or good..
