To price up a CV joint, I told him just to give me both prices for the inner and outer CVs' and I nearly collapsed at the price
£217+VAT of the inner and £173+VAT for the outer one

someone please help and find me one cheaper than that.

anywere wud be cheaper! buy the parts urself from GT and get a backstreet garage or mate to fit them

i have an outer in my garage still attached to a shaft. wheres falkirk? nowhere near carlisle as you can have it if you can collect it

I was told that any 1.8 or above sized engine vauxhall would be ok but the parts guy said that they're all different (different number of splines)

Cheers very much mate, my uncle stays in carlisle mate and will be willing to collect it.

Is it the passenger side one???
