hi my mate just bought a sri 1416v its not been run properly for 2 years just in and out the garage he drove it home from the old ladys house there is a ticking noise anyone know wat it could be?

cam followers. probably hav'nt got no oil in. how long did he drive it for? should sort itself after a few miles

we thought it was that drove about 2 miles but wwe servicing it tomoz so heres hoping it clears

Mine is doing it a little as been stood for a while, put thin oil in so im putting thicker in for a bit run it like that
