Right i've just had a call from a kevin Blanchard saying that the Redcrest holiday company have ceased trading as of 4 o clock this afternoon and i'm due to go on holiday at 7am tomorrow with that very company, they are a coach firm which travel to europe. He said that they're will be no pick up tomorrow and that I've lost my holiday.

I've just been onto the redcrest web site and they're was nothing said about them going under and I also phoned them and got they're answering machine which said nothing of this closure.

WTF do I do????????????

My girl is pretty upset about this and i've no idea who to call to see if this guy is on the level

redscrest holiday company are from carlisle arent they? i used to go to school with the owners daugher. sure that the company was called redcrest

yeah we bused it to estarte (sp) going there was a good laugh, coming back was a nightmare though.....

hope it gets sorted though and you get your holiday, we went with redcrest too...can't see them going bust they been going for ever...

Well it turns out that its true, Redcrest went bust yesterday afternoon

Now I need to wait 8-10 weeks for a refund

The plus side is i'm now goin to Magaluf on friday instead

cheers mate, I couldnt bus it to magaluf if I wanted to as its on an Island

John - Yea it was on ma switch card but the lass on the phone said that it'll take 8-10 weeks to refund, she asked the most stupid question I've ever heard as well "Do you want a refund Mr laurie???" Err yes please

Eck just watch they do give you a refund, generally if they have went bust they wont. If it had been your credit card they would have refunded it but because its switch i would watch.

they are still showing as live on comp

Hiya kirst,

They were ABTA registered and when I phoned them they said that I will deffo be getting all my money back which is a relief, still gutted bout it though as we were really lookin forward to goin.

Oh well magaluf here we come, I've heard lots of good stories about the place so fingers crossed it lives up to the hype
