FF02 wont take much abuse, if you want something that will just be an upgrade, one of the Trinty 27 turn stock motos will do, think the BRCA put a £££ limit on them to £30 ish so still quite cheap and a massibe upgrade if yours is standard

Get yourself a Novak brushless set
They're about £169 (special offer - they're supposed to be 269) plus p+p for motor and speed controller and it's all pre-wired.
Modelspot.co.uk still did them the last time I checked.
Just solder some deans plugs on the speedo and do the same to a decent battery and off you go after set-up.
Your car will be transformed - it is the equivalent of about an eight turn double modified motor which is stupid and completely illegal in any kind of official racing but great fun on a winter's night in your local car park after a trip to the pub.
You won't stop smiling for a month and you'll need a new set of front tyres every 3 or 4 charges
