My Arosa last summer on its for the time being last round on the north loop of Nürburgring, still with 60hp...

..., those were sometimes enough!!!

Nevertheless the small engine and some other loosy components had to make place....

... for some more Power!
- 98er Arosa black
- stock 1.8T with 165kW@5900 revs (BAM engine, AUDI S3) with load pressure adjustment; DRW transmission (6-Gang AUDI A3 TDI) and hydraulic clutch manipulation; full aluminum Toyota Supra tuning intercooler and 60's pipework system; Air intake system BMC CDA; Cooling system Golf 3 VR6 with Spal; Exhaust system 3 inch self-'s building with aSpec components.
- G60 brake assembly in front with ATE power disk; Lupo 16V in the back;
- self-developed H&R Rennfahrwerk on Cuplupo basis;
- stripped body with specialmade Wiechers cell; aluminum doors and rear flap; Makrolon windows in the back; no insulation, door linings from carbon, relieved instrument panel without Airbag
Technical changes not impossible!

from JBS performance a roll in rool out conversion is 7k plus
if you cna find and engine, and someone that works for VW (as you only need VW parts, no one offs etc) it will be mucho cheaper

i reckon 8k and you could have a high miler lupo and a 1.8t from a written off A3 somewhere, fit it yourself or beg lee mitchell. James, i feel you need to do this. Im sure you could get a dead cheap lupo petrol model from a part ex or something.

money wise it doesnt make sense, as you could have a LET corsa for so much less
but for some reason 150/180/225bhp in soemthing that big seems such a logical idea
