Anyone actually been? Me and a couple of the lads have talked into going down for the weekend with 25 borderline psychotic Geordie meatheads and I must say I'm starting to have servere reservations about the whole idea. Forget the beach
it's good for spendin all day on the pleasure beach on rides and doin some bungees on the piers.
I wouldn't recommend the night life if it was just you and your missus but if there's a huge group of you i wouldn't worry?

Yes - if there is a big group of lads then it will be fantastic.
You can hold roasting sessions with brides to be on the pier / beach.

I've heard Newcastle is meant to be a good night out. And i've been to Liverpool a few times thats a very good night out. Plenty of places that are loads better than that shite hole put it that way.
