i have 14" steely wheels on my car... think there 5.5 wide... i bought new tyres there a while ago 185/55/r14 yokohama a539's.... the problem i'm having is that the tyres seem to want to lean over when cornering... feels like i have chivers jelly rapped around my wheels rather than rubber

i'm not sure if this is down to tyres being crap or is the wheel just not wide enough for the 185 tyre...

the plan is to get some goodyear eagle f1s in 185/60/r14 but i wanna get it right this time and not waste 200 odd quid on tyres

any advise would be helpfull

The A539s are ment to be be a good tyre i know there good i the 195/45 fittment, Try the Kuhmo KU31 both me and my bro have them, there very Grippy in both wet and dry. On my Brothers rover 214si 16v they get very warm too when he Canes it too. Much recomended i got mine for 35 quid each and my bros 205/40/R17s are 65 quid each.

Try the Presure may be too low. But im not sure what it should be

problem is the 55 bit of your profile mate coupled with stiffer suspension whilst cornering its the tyre that flexes under its self

Got any pics of ur car mate (Siberia)? its an odd prob ur having as Track day Tyres only seam to come in a 50/55 fittment. This to me says that as far as tyer makers think this must be the best track tyer size so ya would think yours would be fine
