can anyone help me, i need to make an online diary for our company intranet.
IT simply needs 3 cells, Date, Name and Comments/Location.
i need it to insert the information typed into a webpage.

Does anyone know if this is easy or know for a script for a similar thing?

is it to be updated by lots of people or just one person? - if its the later, then i would just HTML it all.
If lots of people, then it needs to be databse driven i would have thought and need a scripting language like ASP/PHP on the intranet server

i would say 1 person at a time, but around 3/4 different people.

it would be achieved much easier using a cgi script, just strip out the shit from a simple guestbook

you could knock something up in about 30mins....main page reads from DB, link oat bottom to a form page - insert info into a DB. Dead easy, but you need to have a scripting language on your server mate, if its windows/nt with IIS, then you have ASP, which is pretty straight forward
