As I am doing my usual Snowboarding over the winter.

As there is a lack of Snow I played SSX 3 last night, then got too excited and rode down the stairs of my house on the board My mum was going mad as me and my mate sam did it about 3 or 4 times before trashing my board

I usually just pop over to Morzine *sp* as my uncle has a place out there so I just pay around £15 for a flight and we have season passes

I am cheap

Would love to do Canda though just a little pricey, but it will be done one season

Sounds like you'll have a wicked time with that many of you
However they might slow you down if they're new to it

I am a board park virgin so going to do that in December as I told my little cousin who is only 12 I would whoop his ass on the ramps, but he is amazing so need to practice

Milton K Snow dome about and hour and a halfs drive away, but its expensive, and you have to book a time slot

Dry slopes cheaper for the learners. Once they can control the board a trip to the snow dome is on the cards.

Another plus is watching the learners fall onto something harder than snow - Yep im pure evil

I found snow boarding easier than skiing to learn, but it is harder work on the legs and back, i'd deffo go for it mate.

However skiing is fun as well untill a border flies past you covering you in snow I am evil too
