Anyone prefer FWD? I know RWD is cool but was drifting on GT4 last night and it gets abit annoying.. was good to get back into FWD..

Or am I just being silly

I think FWD is pretty predictable and is great for a general car, but as far as performance goes its all wrong!

fwd is easier to drive, but harder to correct if all goes wrong!!
However i did manage to powerslide a 206 rallye car on my rally day!!

Rwd is more fun, but harder to master. And can sometimes be easier to correct if things gets sideways!!

I was driving a Monaro and it just got too twitchy and was pissing me off, so got a Tuned Fiat 20V Turbo and stormed round the track ...loved it!

I've driven an RX8, and it felt brilliant, so balanced and controllable, loads of grip. Not sure what it would be in the wet but it has TCS.

I'd rather have RWD personally.

FWD is safe but your limited to about 250 BHP.
4WD is better in the wet, gets power down but, it understeers which means its slow on the corner exit as you have to lift.
RWD is fastest. Rear to put the power down and front to point you in the right direction.

And you can steer with your right foot

correct me if I am wrong

The handling of a 4wd car in the wet is astonishing, especially imprezza!

You cant use anymore than 300 round a track apparently, will just spin up.

You are alright with your tuned up LET for blasts on the duals I imagine though
