Jol told the club's website: "He is one of the most versatile midfielders, a playmaker, a ball-winner with great stamina and huge charisma and one of the best midfielders to come out of Holland in the last 10 years.
Not only that but he rolls a good spliff and sucks my cock in a way my wife can only ever dream of.' Added Jol.
New there was more to it!

"It's terrific that he is joining us. This is the player we have spoken about who will lift the team's performance. We have a young squad with an average age of 23 and I believe Edgar will come in and invade all of my little boys bum holes."

Because he wanted Champions League footie I reckon, but now he wants first team football to be in for a shout of a world cup place in the holland team.
Davids Carrick/Taino is spurs midfield next year

think we should invest in defense now. We had too many problems last season.

Agree with Jake, one centre back who has experience to help Ledley King..
they have dawson and a few other youngsters and then a few real oldies but no one top class and experienced

No way Dawson is class, Naybet is old but the wise guy to help Dawson and Ledley. Davenport played really well in the peace cup, and theres the wonder boy Huddlestone who will grow in stature over the next year or two. The futures bright the futures lillywhite.

agreed he and the others you mention are class but do not have the experience of terry/carvalho or ferdinand and silvestre hence the tightest defences in the league last year

He hardly played last season!! The season before when he was at Barca he was good, but last year when my boys Inter got him he sat on the bench for most of it!

And if he'd of got it with Inter! they are in the champions league!
I just think he wanted football - end of!
I'm wondering where Andy Van De Meyde will be playing next season - another good player that Inyer want off their books - I can see him going to Everton or maybe to Spurs aswell.
Seems Spurs have quite good relations with Inter, I remember Dalmat going to Spurs for a loan spell not long ago - he's another class player that Inter have recently got rid of.........

dalmat was a good player but he threw a wobbly and smacked a reserve team player i think, which is why spurs told him to sling his hook
