Was up at my mates for a BBQ tongiht..

he has 2 quads...1 with gears etc goes about 60mph, other no gears goes about 40-50mph..

after about 8 tins of carling thought it was a good idea to take them up the woods..

all going well..done about 4 circuits of woods was ace, totally luving it...flying through the trees etc..

i was on non gear model doing about 40 and mate was behind me. i hit a metal pole that was sticking out the grass, bike stopped dead i done about 3 summersaults and landed on my knee head over heals, mate hit me from behind and pished himself laughing...

=

1 really sore knee, big hole in it
1 fucked quad, wheels face in opposite directions and throttle switch snapped..

so i will be getting a big bill and sore as fuck at moment..just aswell i'm half pissed..

There was one time I was riding my old quad over our compost heap and it got stuck, I fell off it and saw it wobbling on top of this big pile of crap, I had fallen down about 2m to a lower part of the compost heap, I quickly jumped up and the next thing I knew the quad had fallen over to where I was previously lying and sunk all the way into the ground, I think I could have drowned in the compost heap if it had fallen on me Thats waht makes them so fun though, they are leathal!

I went on a pedalo on holiday pissed and nearly had a bad accident so a quad when drunk probably isn't the best idea

In all fariness though.....well told story

my mate was at a bbq last night also on a farm near greenock, blitzed on the majority of a 24 slab of tenents lager. He also decided to take a shot on a quad, couped it over and broke his collar bone! once had 7 of us on one of those honda 'big red' trikes - magic fun!
