I am spending a lot more than I thought on PAYG.

My shortlist of phones:-

Sony Ericsson K750i
Nokia 6230i
Nokia 6680
Samsung D500

Will I be able to take my number with me? What are the best contract deals out there for around £30 a month? I would prefer to stay with 02 although I will move to another network. I am a student so student discount would be a bonus - any tips on how to get it when signing up?
