i went to corfu a few years back.. was probably the best holiday i have had...
made a few mates out there and we all got trashed each day/night and joined in with the sweedish 18-30's all girls holiday.. was great fun

Depends where you go, ive been 4 times and each time stayed in a lush hotel in a nice area. Never been out drinking down the shitty back streets in san antonio, stayed away from amnesia and san an clubs which are basically like Ikons you get in the uk.
Defo easy to avoid chavs in ibiza and mingle with the more classy europeans if you go to the right places. Greg stayed in playa de bossa which we visited and found it to be very dirty

I went to Kavos in Corfu last year. I can safely say it was the worst holiday I have ever been on. There was sick and piss everywhere, the people there pissed in the pool and never washed so the pool was really dirty. There were always people having sex on the beach so there were used condoms everywhere, there was broken glass everywhere too. Was shite.
Though the year before we stayed in a 5 star hotel in Corfu somewhere and it was wicked. So the whole place isn't a chave shit hole. I think it gets worse the closer you get to the McDonalds in Kavos.

Sorry but this just proves the overuse of the word chav and how much we generalise and stereotype
Corfu for starters, been there but not to Kavos it was a little place called aggios Iionis iirc and it was very quiet and friendly and full of families....not chav.
Secondly i've been to ibiza and there's the biggest mix of people in san an that I have ever seen, so labelling ibiza chav is a plain incorrect admittedly their are chav's in some bits but you tend to get chav's everywhere you go if you don't want to spend a week asleep by the pool.
