For the purposes of deflecting as much heat as possible from a cone air filter, what would be the best material to use?
Aluminium?
Carbon fibre?
Planning on doing some experimenting soon...

Don't some 'induction kits' come with carbon fibre cones though?

most materials would do some sort of job to stop engine heat getting to the filter. carbon would reflect most of the heat although its probably used because it's 'trendy'
