doing my washin myself as sis is on holiday

got some reds, yellows whites and blacks

can i wash the reds with the yellows or wil the red dye the yellow?

or yellow with the whites?


reds or yellows in with the blacks?

i would put the whites and yellows in together and the reds in with the blacks.

well im always getting asked if i have any whites needing washed, so i take it that means whites stay seperate from colours, apart from that i have no clue.

You need to change the setting on the washer to non-colourfast with colours i think At least I do and it comes out ok

whites together, yellow together, then reds and blacks together. from experience i wouldn't put whites and yelows together

neither would i^^^

but my mum has always put

Whites + Towels
Darks (grey through to yellow)
Delicates (white things with ermm like prints on them eg. my england shirt with my name and number on)

I know this because they are marked on the basket

I have no red coloured clothes so I cannot advise on this.

I only ever have three seperate piles of washing; dark stuff, white or light coloured stuff, and jeans!

You want:

Whites
Darks (include reds)
All Other Colours

Yellows go in with Colours

Also towels should be done seperately as well as other stained stuff @ 60o

duno if it was me or yellow tshirt was bit tighter may of shrunk it
