just stepped out of the office to do the 2 minute silence, was one of the weirdest things i've seen, at least 1000+ people standing on Cannon Street not saying a word, cabs/buses parked up, green lights on the traffic lights but not a single car moving.

Very odd sight/experience when you are in the heart of the financial district.

same here mate, was looking out the window and everything was just motionless.

Usually there are sirens going off every 2 minutes and horns blasting all day.

was strange in the office, looking at my window over the thames and people on the walkway stopped and was silent !
