Well after this little disaster...



...finally sprayed and fitted Steiny spoiler It's had 6 coats of primer, and about the same number of paint Just to make sure it was ok this time Anyway, finished result below:

Well it's never happened with the primer I usually have. I use cellulose paints, and the primer I get works ok with it, so can only assume it was the stuff in the grey can

Just shown the old man, and apparently its the kind of reaction you get if you paint cellulose paint on top of 2pac paint

Mainly clarke stuff, not the most expensive but it does the job as you can see. Got a decent 7cfm compressor, and a grav fed gun with 1.4mm nozzle.

As said above, use cellulose paint, but may try 2K one day.

possible the halfords primer was 2pac? alltho i think most spray cans are cellulose?

Ahhhh, that's prob it then. I bought it painted and flatted that back before primering. I did wonder but obv wasn't sure. Well least I know now
