After a bit of advice. Looking to buy some Mission stereo gear. An amp and speakers basically.

I have been offered a Mission FS1 and Mission 6.

I'm not entirely sure which is the amp and which are the speakers but is this stuff any good?

Will I be able to hook it up to my iPod?

Also, what would be a good price to pay for these?

Finally, afetr a 32" LCD and spotted a Samsung LE32R41B. Is this any good?

loads good deals out there be sure u get what u want and look around properly, cos other wise suamnt else will come out and u will have wished u waited

I know you have said you want Mission audio, but have you seen Energy stuff? probably the best in the world.

I've two AIWA systems. They are so fucking crap though Only really used for the radio so i don't care

The reason I mentioned Mission was that a mate has won the stuff in a competiion through work (he's in the trade). he already has a good system so has asked if I want to buy it. He reckons it decent kit for home use but I don't know jack about them!

All the Mission speakers I have listened to have been excellent. Very expensive though!

I have a Phillips 32PF9986 32'' LCD and it's fantastic. Expensive but looks stylish (bonus!) and the picture etc is outstanding, best I saw IMO. Speaker/amp wise I run B&W floor standers and a Marantz 5500 surround amp, nice little set up with quality sound. Had some Missions years ago, weren't bad but I've always been a B&W man myself..

Around 2k, most shops are charging 2800ish but you can get it on the net for under 2k. The Samsung is a nice unit though, not much in it really I just liked the look of the Phillips and the ambient lights really are pimp

Crikey. Thats steep!

The Samsung is only £850ish so think i'll just go for that.
