Fitted the polished rocker cover, got the cam belt cover gasket today so will fit that tomorrow too...

After teaching myself how to use fiberglass and filler etc from doing the door pods, decided to make a start on the preparation for the respray myself. Started to smooth in the front arches to the skirts...

Smoothed over the old numberplate light recess, and im goin to fit the new plate recess into the bumper soon.

Thats bout it for now, so much work still left to do though, and still got to get it resprayed! Throttle bodies and the new head are coming tomorrow though

just a tip.. try masking the parts where u dont want the fiberglass/filler to go to save on rubbing down and to avoid scratching parts u dont want to!

Don't like the look of the 'blended' arches. I think a few pot holes and they will crack.

Go for it mav, It's not really that difficult, just take your time

The colour coding on my car has been done by myself, no better way of learning than having a go yourself!

Also its under the bonnet so no-one will see the mess you make

not if they are pop rivited also it dont look like he's blending the arch into the wing, but the arch in2 the sideskirt, and the sideskirt would have previously been blended all he is doing is making it flush as there is a step on that style of skirt, (something im going to be doing with mine very soon)
