yeh! deffo - what company were they?

best time to buy buy buy providing the company is not involved directly in the problem. I.e. would suck to invest in a computer in the twin towers arn't it blew up haha.

But you imagine if you had bought say 100 when it was £3.56! It'll definately re-rise if it was £67 originally! sell at say £40.

Thing is, are the share price likely to recover? you might buy them at £3.56 and they might not return to the full price they were yesterday,.

On Sept 11 2001 a mate of mine bought shares in PCC on the New York Stock Exchange, PCC own the place where he workd and make engine componants for planes... because no one was flying the share prices dropped... as soon as it blew over they shot right back up, he made a fortune...

I'd say the best place to buy shares today would be the London Undergound becasue no one is using it, no money is coming in today and share prices will drop right down... once they re open tomorrow the share prices will shoot right back up!!

Of course they will. Share prices drop as a event happens, everyone shits themselves and sells asap.

Providing the thing that has happened doesn't directly effect the company you have shares in, it'll recover! Think about it, if the shares were worth £56 before - it's a big company! It'll go back up (maybe not to £56) but a far sight higher than £3.60!

Unless as I say, the companies now damaged / unable to operate / etc.

But that wasn't effected in any way by yesterdays activities... I'm talking like buyin them in London Underground, London Busses, London Taxis, anything transport in London, they're bound to have dropped!

The market will recover swiftly.... best bets are safe-havens of Gold and Swiss Franc... unlikely anyone will profit from this sort of thing put it that way
