When I did a 4 hour descent down the Alps a few years back my back disk was glowing red and the front was yellow.... Was a bit steep and rocky

yes the pads were smelling quite badly, think i might take it easy on the until they are bedded in. very impressed though!

what have you got ? hope discs ? thats what i had and they got fucking hot but still performed extremely well

no Hayes Sole hydraulic discs.

I got Hope 4 pots, one of the pads disintegrated the other day... Didn't even notice because there were still 3 pads in there working
