as above, stripping my fiesta back to its bare bones and thinking there must be a better way than a wire brush and a screw driver

Nooooo... Take it to a person to sand blast it for you. You can't just sand blast stuff on your driveway! Needs to be done in a filtered air tight booth.

i hav a sand blaster and stay on a farm so could do it myself why a filtered air tight booth?

Because all the shite gets everwhere and is well messy... Whenever I have sand blasted stuff I have done it that way... Guess there are differet ways though....

Get the chassis stripped to bits and what it on one of them jig thingies so you can sit it on it's side to blast it if you have a sand blaster to hand.

jig thingy? maybe just roll it on its side i have it all stripped already pretty much, just got doors to come off bonnet off and engine out, then fuel tank n thats bout it
