C20LET Turbo Is Water Cooled, so dont really need an Turbo Timer. i dont have one on my corsa t and cav t and turbos dont smoke at all. always turn off after 10-15secs idleing.

no need to sit in car for any length of time as you don;t rag the car near home. I owna turbo car and drive normally ( not like AK) I very rairly acutally use boost because I drive on 30 or 40mph most of the time therefore no turbo cool down. the turbo only gets hot after prolonged use.

if u've given the car a bit of the beating it's just being kind to then drive a few miles off boost so everything especially the turbo can cool down. Turbo's aren't cheap to fix! but leaving a car idling isn't the best thing to do anyway, so just drive off boost for a few minutes then u don't need to leave it idling.
