what is WIFI?
Am i right in thinking its a wireless device that you simply plug into your wired netowork?

U need a wireless hub/router for ur laptop/pc to connect to but yeah its just wiresless network work mate

i already have a wired router, so plugging a WIFI device into the rj45 port will essiently make it a wireless router?

if u plug a wirless base station into RJ45 on a wired modem router it would become a wirless router (in basic terms)

it will lack some abilitys of for exmpl the Netgear DG834GT but will work in much the same way!

if you have a router then all you want is a wireless access point and a wireless card for what ever you want to connect from.
