Just get a non-GM one from a motorfactors, they should be pretty cheap... When I had mine replaced at the last MOT I was charged about £15 for it...

I got quoted £500 + VAT for a cambelt change through Renault 
and £380 + VAT for the 36k service that a total of £1034 
They just want to rob me robbing bastards
luckily I got it all done for £450

vauxhall are cowboys when it comes to just about everything, hate to think how much money i have spent down there,
the best bit is you go to different dealerships and find the prices are completly different!!

Thats pretty good. Mine was still done at renault so I get the service stamp etc so £450 was pretty good imo. Especially because it included the waterpump, the full cambelt kit not just the belt, oil change, fuel filter, air filter, Aux belt, polen filter and a few other things like coolent etc.
I was there with the mechanic it took from 9am until 6pm to do all the above as its such a tight fit engine. He had to virtually take the engine out to get to the belts also the front bumper off, it was good to watch though
