Where's the best place to get them? Currently looking at Dell as they seem alright and have a double memeory deal on for a few more days.

I would avoid Dell unless you take out extended warranty for a few years..
Just replaced a keyboard on a 1 year old Dell and it cost the customer £170.. 
Also avoid Sony because repair centres are few and far between.
I recommend buying from John Lewis. Their warranty's are top notch and they will replace entire machines with very little persuasion required.

My work just bought me a Sony one. it was £1500 and is only a 1.8G Centrino. I'm not that impressed with it.
