Lived there, South Africa. Costs are low for UK as £1 = about 12 Rand. Just watch which parts you goto though.

I went to South Africa for Xmas a year or two ago, was amazing.

A few people I worked with were from africa and the amount of rape / corruption and murders they spoke of over there was crazy.
He said he was walking down the street once and there were 2 blokes just openly shooting at each other in the street.
They're also apparently really racist against whites and he got jumped by a load of blokes.

i wil have a nice holiday, im staying in a 5* hotel in a nice area, one of my mams mates stayed here and said it was the best holiday shes had. apparently the staff are really nice to you and she had no bother.

Yeh people forget that africa is a very big place in some area's it's a shit hole and bad stuff happens, in other area's it's perfectly fine, and in other area's there are people with mud huts.

though saying that - I was talking to a african bloke the other day (also white) - and he was saying about how often they have police road blocks etc.
Where basically they ask for the 'missing page' in your passport etc, and you have to put a bribe of money in the passport in the middle and hand it over as if the money was a missing page.
As I say a lot of corruption.

Neither of these people lived in kenya with mud huts and cows.
They all came from normal looking area's with normal towns / cities. Hence they were white and spoke perfect english.

I've been to Tunisia and must say it one dodgy fucking place. Stayed in Port El Kantaoui which was quite I nice place and the Hotel beautiful, in fact I had a lovely time until I had food posining and some dodgy fucking rag head and his mate tried to kidnap my girlfriend and pull her in a van, luckily a couple who we met seen it happening and help me out.
