I need a free C compiler as I have to do some work in C, regardless of the fact that working in C++ or whatever else is much better / easier.

I keep looking for C compiler's and finding C++ compilers

I found a C compiler which didn't even work with the C code I had working on campus!

Someone please help as all my mates haven't got any assignments / lectures and got to go home early from uni - where as I'm stuck here till I do this haha
