My band - Radar, are now in the regional finals of a worldwide battle of the bands.

We are playing the Birmingham Carling Academy 1 this Sunday 3rd July. We have the headline slot over the other 12 bands taking part at the request of the organizers.

We will be taking the stage at 22:20.

If anyone is about or has nothing to do on Sunday night please come along and cheers us on. If we make it to the finals we are in with a chance of winning a 6 figure sum of money and a US tour then a festival tour next year around Europe.

Please come along and make the night that little bit more, would be great to see anyone from here, make sure you come over and say hi though (Im keys and synth man)

Im really looking forward to this event - we've been playing against some really good competition and came through shining after all the heats. The Academys capacity is 2700 although we are expecting there to be more like 1000 in attendance for all the bands together

BOOO i would def gone to this! am at bham acad most saturdays but going down to guilford to a 21st bday this weekend How much is it if i do get back on sun evening?

check the website if you've got a half decent connection - you can stream the songs off there - the songs we play now are more rocky though for sure - the EP on the site is last years work - were in the studio knocking out another EP at the minute - in fact - as we speak the vocals are going down.
