I know this is the wrong forum and if no one can help ill delete the thread

Can someone tell me which way round the battery does in a corsa key?
Does the plus or the negative part face down to the spring?

which corsa is this, am sure mine never had one.

but i have a different locking thingy now so not used key for years

98 b, one of the keys has a remote central locking and the other one is just a plain key but ive lost the other one somewhere
