Not a bad day - some quality driving

Set off on a mission to Midas styling - wouldnt answer mobile and other mobile was off soooooooo thought we would turn down a road and head back towards motorway - looked in my mirror for some reason and saw a sign for Rockingham speedway track thing so thought ah fek it will go there instead

Only 2 pics i got as battery went dead (forgot to charge up thought was full) and videoing killed batteries:



This curtis's dads yeh?



The white old shape scooby went like fek, looked to be quicker than the sumo skyline down the straights

What everyone else think?

I went and thought it was realy good and loved the D1 drifting, shame about the weather and the £20 entrance fee!!

We got there just as it stopped rainign and sun came out

and got in for free thanx to mike16v bringin his mates tickets out haha worked out quite well just used shit loads of diesel going there and back haha

also agree with what ya said about the sumo motor, but i dont think it was being driven hard tho

took them about 5 mins to open a tin of fuel to put in the R34 skyline, got spanners out n the lot to get in worlds longest pit stop haha

haha nah missed that but i saw the crazy little jap fella with the scottish hat on with fake hair and the tv vrew with him with the steering wheel with camera in the middle - wot was that all about they were crazy haha

Was a top day out, shame about the shite weather but it meade the drifting qualifying interesting

D1 drifting was the highlight though, definatly going to Silverstone in October when the whole D1 peeps come over from Japan for a full round!!!

Managed to get some cool minky pics which I'll upload sometime tomorrow

really enjoyed the day...

was wicked seeing all the top tuners taking their cars round the track..

that Cossie was silly quick and "Rocket" Ronnie's car sounded awesome

no, i do think it was the japs who were better but they werent competing

im kinda tempted to get into drifting... may do it once i get the cally in the 12's..
