2.0 16v Nova/Corsa built? Who by? What does it look like? Is it still alive e.t.c... Just interested to see who had the bright idea to fit a big engine into a small car, cos back when the engines were first in production there surely weren't many hot hatches about appart from the Golf GTi, which is a pretty big car compared to the Corsa.... Oh yea, who was the first bright spark to put a LET in?

I think this is the correct answer to the first 2.0 16v, sure it was a 1 year old Nova GTE, could have been brand new not sure.

first nova was 89, sure it was built by a bloke called ian ??? who bough a written of GTE and built it using those parts

Yeah, I think Andy Bracey and myself had the first 2 litre corsas. I think I was one of the first to have a throttle bodies 2 litre?
