The C is heavier and has less power.

more of a fair race would be the corsa b 1.2 16v vs the corsa c 1.4 16v...but even then the 1.4 would still probably win

i wouldnt be so sure it was the case every time, a lot of 1.4 corsa b's will be old and have a lot of miles on the clock a lot of c's wont.

thats immaterial because its all relative, its gutless compared to a 1.8t golf and a 1.8t golf is gutless compared to an m3 and an m3 is gutless compared to a maclaren F1 and so on.

id bet that it would be a close race 99% of the time.

(i use the term race between a 75 and 90 brake car loosely)

mileage is not the factor here if the engine is well looked after
