My bro's fiesta has only got front speakers. They worked intermitently but now have stopped working all together. I pulled out the head unit and all the connections seem fine. I tried the rear speaker cables with a spare speaker and no sound came out. Tried a diff head unit and again no sound. Only thing I could think of is that one of the wires around the back of the front speakers is touching the metal of the body. Not sure if this makes sense but had a vague memory of this happening on my corsa. Just checking if this could be the problem before i go ahead and strip the doors down. Cheers.
