Started as just a couple of flames that if you had a fire extinguisher straight away you might have been able to put out before they spread. Can't believe how massive it got, would be aweful watching your pride and joy go up in flames.
As Aj said it makes you think I might invest in one now

Between £40 and £50 depending on size for a proper Motorsport jobbie from Demon Tweeks!

Clicky

Dont think I would trust a "carbon look" 'Flamebeater'

So there is something in them then?

Sorry was probably being a bit harsh there! I reckon all fire extinguishers must have to be of a certain standard! Anythings better than nothing (which is whats in mine at the moment!)

I nicked mine from Halfords. When the firemen were striking, we sold ot of extinguishers!

I got one in mine, cos i imagined standing at the roadside, stranded, waiting for the firecrew to arrive. You wouldnt be able to do anything but stand helplessly and watch would be gutting.

Amen!

Dont reckon you would have needed much to put that fire out in the vid when it first started!

He should have pissed on it! You have to ask yourself 'how much do I love my car!"

A mate had a 205 gti, i was towing him in the hilux and he was trying to get it started, the flames came from no where up the screen, opened the bonnet and we both stood trying to conjure up enough piss to piss on the fire, we ended up just thrwoing jumpers and all sorts over the flames!

was funny at the time
