i have only had my car out the body shop about 1 week after spending £2000 dressing it up.
then last night someone went into the back of me while i was stationary!
it was near oxford square in blackpool where it happened, and a car cut in front of our lane of traffic further ahead, so everyone put there brakes on, i had stopped and been stationary for a few seconds and then this youngish lad, just ran into the back of me in his ford escort van, he was only going slowish. hence no damage to me.
he worked for a building firm, i forget the name of it, ive got it wrote down, he was dead apologetic and told him ive only just got it fooking back! he was like ahhh im sorry, looks nice though!
i was like what the fuck???? then he had a look round my car and said ive bet youve spent a bit on this.......i was like are you for real?? youve just crashed into me and you saying how nice it looks, i was fuming at the time....
but he said he was insured under the works car insurance thing, but he didnt want to go through that as he hasnt been working for them long, he said he would pay up, he wants to pay cash and get it over and done with asap. so i said ill get a quote the day after and give him a ring.....so i have to ring him today after ive been to kk, an ill go get the money off him..
Damage : abut 2ft worth of shattered fibre glass and cracks under the paint, some chips too.
Luckly he didnt hit the smooth boot, cos that would have put the expense up, it quite litterally is just the back bumper thats damaged...
well see today how much it costs to repair.

im getting a quote today as to how it will cost to repair........so ill add some on to that and ask him to pay up, otherwise ill bring the insurance in. and they charge more than that anyway........
so see how much damage is.....

How will you add more onas normally they will ask to see a printed quote won't they?

yeah, but the place i get my work done, i know em, and they are my mates.......
...........so..........thats how, he said he dint want go through his work insurance anyway cos hes only been there for a short amount of time. And he says it will cost more anyway and take longer, he said he will pay whatever it costs........

get 3 or 4 quotes.... show him maybe the most expensive or 2nd most expensive....
then get it done at a place you want for cheaper

lol.....thats a good idea, but the thing is, my paint work is one off, ive had it done white, with blue, green and purple flakes over the top............ so not sure if other places would agree to do it cos they may not be able to get the match.

Someone crashed into me on Saturday. Guy reversed into me hit my front bumper. No damage done but i got out ready to give him a slap and he started laughing and saying that the car infront of him was going to reverse into him so he was moving out of the way. Bizarre.
