just sold the cors atoday got juts over 2k to spend.
want someting better than my 1.0 corsa. somethign faster, nice to look at, better to drive etc just unsure wot
so far looking at a
1.5vtec civic EK
106 gti
mk1 golf clipper
wots peoples views on these
insurance is h8igh on the 106 for me so im unsure about it.
golf seems a little old.
civic maybe a tad boring with no mods.

I recon you'd struggle to find a decent gti for £2k aswell.
You could get a civic vti for that money but insurance would be a bit compared to the 106 (about 2 groups higher iirc).

pug 205 gti, you'll find a minter for 2k and the 1.6 is insurance friendly compared to the 1.9

my friend just got an okish one for 3k
civic - look dull but is a vtec
clipper - again dull
id go with a 205gti or a nova valver
or rst
either way go old skool

odnt like mk2s, prefer mk1s but have this conern that there old cars etc. cant affrod for thinsg to go wrong,
ive seena few 106 gtis around the 2.5k mark which i mite b able to stretch too, but wots the insurance like on them
clipper i like cos kinda retro but dont want problems,
cant afford a vti tho so 11.5 would have todo.

ant i know of a mint 205 1.9 with bilstein suspension, BBR starchip, BK 16" wheels half leather etc in sidcup
guys only selling it as hes got a mk1 golf gti

the problem is you want trouble free motoring?
well that rules out everyone of the cars above apart from the Civic. And IMO the civic would be boring and more expensive to mod if you did fancy that route

well civic is juts a set of wheels and a the od splitter. i think its wot ill end up going for it comes wiht electric everything so i cant complain.

should NEVER be put together
mk1 golf in mint condition for 2k no problems, its a VW, they dont break like vauxhalls
