It made me laugh when they were talking to the people who were leaving the race track, as some of them made no sense what so ever !!! One lad said they should have started them from the pit lane with new tyres, but they would still use michelin so would still have the same prob

That bloke had no clue - I think as TV viewers, we were a lot better informed about the situation. I think very few really knew what was going on...

Nah they had a right to be pissed off in the stands, yeah it wasnt the drivers faults, but the race should either have been called off and refunds given, or a chicane put in and show the fans a race.
F1 is supposed to be there for our entertainment, if some fat yank writes off a f1 car with a can of stella, then I admit I would have a giggle, aslong as noones hurt that is

Yeah, that 'should' have happened but it didnt and they spat the dummy. Fact is that it was irresponsible, dangerous, childish and totally unfunny and only further goes to bring the sport to disrepute.
I dont care what happens in a race, im not debating that they are angry and fully deserve a refund, there is no condoning whatsoever that what they did by throwing things was 100% out of order.

Then, quite honestly, you're a twat!
F1 is a competition between some of the best drivers in the world, they do it to win not to look good on TV or for the cameras. There is a ridiculous amount of money involved for the teams, and the general incentive to win a race is huge. While today's farce made for a very boring race, it was still an official race (until the FIA deem otherwise), and so the three remaining teams still had everything to play for. Of course they're not going to back down...
And, to be honest, if they could prove it, I'd be all up for anyone caught throwing anything onto the track being charged with attempted assault and banned from any sporting event for the rest of their life (that goes for anyone caught doing so at any sporting event).

Yeah too right, but tbh, im not a serious follower of the sport but when I do watch it, I think its entertainng to see them crash and stuff, Id hate to see anyone hurt - but they take the risk by being an F1 driver in the first place.

I agree with the FIA, when they said why should they change the track to suit the Michelin equipped cars when the other teams have made their cars suitable for the track.

i feel that some of you havnt got a fucking clue about motorsports, as you seem to be agreeing with the FIA and Ferrari and looking at the small narrow minded picture, instead of the bigger picture - which is the fans and the viewers.
i bet none of you here would have been too pleased to pay 50 quid for a ticket, plus your travel expenses (easily a grand for the weekend) to find only 6 cars racing......it wasnt exactly exciting was it 
and aye, i agree to a certain extent that the fans shouldnt have thrown bottles/cans onto the track, but considering most of them were aimed at Ferrari, who was the only team to object to the chicane being built (because they needed points like an obese yank needs a diet) then i dont know what the problem is?
As for Jean Todt, i wished to beat the day lights out of his short arse - he blatantly lying about being really upset that the race didnt happen and was talking complete bollocks.....yes, but if you were worried about the fans, then you wouldnt have raced, instead you got 18 points
overall i hope the FIA gets as much of a kick-in as Michelin will recieve, as they knew about the problem a day before hand and they could have come to some solution for the fans and viewers, who contribute a large portion to their pay packets - and Paul Stoddart seem to have made a great speech about this:
