How do I save the file as a gif? Its an animation.
Doesn't seem to be any option to save it as an animated gif 
Anyone know?

Maybe you have to export it.

just when you call the file
call it file.gif
type it yourself? try that mate!

n the optimize window on the right, make sure the format is 'gif'
then File > Save optimize as

you can also use the preview in internet browser option then right click and save as
