Thought it was a nice day to try it, so decided to make some fiberglass door pods using andysri's guide (cheers mate ) Still a lot of work to do, but its going well so far!

None of its gonna be seen anyway This is my first ever attempt, got spare door cards if it goes horribly wrong Nothing to lose from trying though

wheres the guide.... they dont look to bad to be honest, i can see where ure going and its the initial stages so keep us posted on how it goes

Sanded down the expandable foam into a rough shape, leaving it for tonight cos im going out on the piss but should have more progress next week! Even if it doesnt work its been a laugh!

u dont need to use expanding foam tho......

easier to just use the ring and plastic as shape and fibreglass over.

Not yet mate, snapped a hub and the car is off the road till the bits are shipped over from germany, thats why im trying to get the stereo done now while its off road anyway and im gonna get the door pods sprayed at the same time as the car.

Still some work to do but im pleased with how its coming along, just doing a bit more now and again in between work and other jobs on the car
