hi
I drive a Corsa B, Its lowered 60mm (full GMAX Suspension Kit) with 195/45/15 inch Alloys. Offset of the alloys is et45.
I find the car very bouncy everytime i go over a bump or driving on a bumpy road and there is 1 person sitting in the back it sounds like the inner arch is hitting off the tyre.
Should I change alloys and get a higher offset, nearer to et49 or change my suspension setup. ( would it be the springs or the shocks that are making the car bouncy), if I could I would change either the spring or the shocks if this would fix the problem. Or would a new setup be the answer, nothing to expensive though.
Any ideas folks.

Thanks

grind a littel bit of the inner arche off...you shouldnt really be getting any rubbing but if u take a bit off your arches theyll be grand?
have u had the wheels on for long?

I would think its a bit of the plastic arch that just catching the tyre or the arch bolts just catching.
I would take the top two bolts out the arch and see if it still rubs.
If it does.... take the wheel off and stick you head in the arch, there should be a nice clean bit where its been rubbing.
If you cant see a clean bit it must be hitting the plastic bit.
Just get a file and shave a bit off it.

The wheels have been on the car for about a year now. As I say i'll check the inner plastic and i'll check the bolts.
I have noticed over the last few months scrapes on the passenger side back tyre.
Just to clarify it wouldnt be the actual wheels are suspension themselves, ie. the suspension being abit bouncy or the offset of the wheels.
Is it diffently the arches?
Thanks.
