today i was giving some hard time to my corsa and after getting wheel spin on 1st gear (which is normal) i noticed that even on 2nd it did a bit of spinning and 1 time it did even in 3rd for a fraction of a sec. now i know this happens in many car... but is it usual that it occurs with a 1.2 8v. also the car has been in the family for 11yrs now and its only happening after a very bad accident with it. can it mean nething or it just nomal?

Could have been a bent chasis or broken suspension causing one of the wheels to have more movement in it than it should

I had decent wheel spins in mine, 1st 2nd and a skid in 3rd before. Using a Well known slippery Junction, it was pouring with rain, Crappy/Plasticky tyres Didn't redline though...

Were you really booting it at the time or just driving sensibly? Was it on normal asphalt/Tarmac?

my first car was a 1.2 8v corsa, towards the end of owning it i could manage to get it to spin a tiny bit in 2nd, there is no chance in 3rd sorry mate but must be sommat up with the chassis holding one wheel higher off the ground so allowing it to spin

I can do wheel spins in 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Sometimes can do it in 4th when it's wet. I put it down to being abused from new
