With a fiesta 
JR i will need your help on this!
Basically, local modded car meet, i was dropping my girlfriend home, passed them they all stared. on way back, they were waiting for me  got followed. Held back till we hit a nice long dual carriage way (private of course  ) i floored it in 3rd, i was a good 5-6 car lengths in front, we kept going and going. Untill i got bored and didnt wanna loose my liscence or break my just recently fixed car
I couldnt be arsed to chase after the guy to stop hm and ask what engine its got etc etc, but it was fookin quick. Dark blue mk3 fezza. I have no idea what it was running. We got to over a clock indicated 130mph on a private large dual carrigeway. I was faster, by a couple of car lengths, but he wasnt far off
Really interested to know what ppl do to these things to make em go that fast, i.e is a an RS turbo engine or just a tuned 1.6 tubby?

prob just an rs turbo tuned a bit, even if you pull away 5-6 car lengths this indicates you have a large performance advantage over the person, people assume because there car has X amount more bhp that somehow they will leave another like its stood still, it doesnt work like that, you need a MASSIVE bhp advantage over someone to signifincantly pull away

Could be anything, 1.6 CVH, 1.9 CVH, 1.8 ZVH, 2.0 ZVH, 2.1 ZVH, a cossie even (though I would hope not if you beat him LOL).
Or even a N/A on TB's or Carbs...

Could be a a tuned 1600cc CVH mate, eg svm286 from here has got a 286bhp rst thats still a 1600cc
of as time says could be a 1.9cvh, obv extra capicatiy helps
or a midly tuned zvh
i would think from what youvr said it prob a cvh still as a chip, filter and exhaust system usally see around 170bhp on the rollers, cams and head work usally are just under 195

Crikey, wish id stopped him now but i couldnt be arsed to have gone round the roundabout and tried to flag him down.
This i guess is how the "i need more power" thing starts
Skinz yeah i know what you mean, plus i didnt drop it down to 2nd, but he did seem a little quicker 100-130mph

ive kept with 2lt corsa in my mild tuned rst
but then the rst was never made in blue
but the 1.8 zetec xr2i is very popular is dark blue

Paul it was in Bourne end!
They met in the little row of shops car park, there was a saxo withdare V1s on it and a couple of bikes, i wasnt really paying attention so i didnt really look. there was possibly a nova there also.
I think it was just the driver sly

But what if it's not declared on the insurance. Plus won't that only tell you the engine capacity and not whats been done to it?
