What disc have you burnt them on

-R/RW or +R/RW

Some players will only play from either but not both.

burnt onto a cd-r and the manual says that should be fine

just thinking... could it be cos its written as an open ended cd and not closed off after burning?

Yes, that's very likely. You'll need to Finalise the disc,

never mind I'm thinking of DVDs. It could be the finalised disc option. Try using media player to burn the .mp3 data disc to see if it makes any difference. Also try another brand of media. Some players do not like certain brands.

yes always finalise the recording.

Also make sure the CD you're burning onto isn't a DVD

I've made this mistake before

i had this problem too, the two up and down buttons next to volume control is the key to this - mines was only playing selected songs off disc - press the down button so it says mp3 - cant remember wot the other setting is but this should sort it. did for me anyway
