Why the fuck cant people do anything properly in this country. You get an alarm fitted to a car and you expect it to work for a bit longer than 2 months. My car is sat turned on on my driveway and the keys are not in it, they are in my pocket here, because the alarm wont turn the bloody ignition off....

Sometimes the ignition barrel sticks, does it on mine every now & then

Just try wiggling it when your taking it out

my nova used 2 do this. its the ignition switch at fault. also i found that tightenin the battery terminals propperly helps alot

Ignition switch being one of the relays in the fuse box? Or is it one of the things on the engine wiring loom....

Then I have to get out and take the earth off the battery. I never thought of stalling the car I took the ht out of the coil, I electrictued myself doing it, was fun

Yes.... Good job GAP record thier telephone calls isn't it as well because they told me how good they were at fitting alarms and how they never used electrical tape to seal their joints, only heat shrink. What do I see all over the wires? Oh, electrical tape.

the ignition switch is on the end of the barrel. on the nova simetimes wen it wouldnt turn off, i would keep tryin till it worked then bout 10mins later i would here music from outside only 2 find that hte ignition has come bak on. i changed the switch and neva had the problem agen

So it's the plastic thing that clips onto the end of the barrel? Mine did the same as yours which is why I though it was the alarm malfunctioning.....

i had an alarm on me nova but it woz a shite 1 that barly worked. yeh its a lil bit of black plastic on the end of the barrel. should b 2lil grub screws holdin it on 2the end of the barrel

btw if there is no grub screws then its a really tight fittin plug
