I nearly fell off my chair when someone told me Damien Lewis wasnt american. Such a good actor.

Its really well made, an excellent portrial of life in the war.

I also loved how they found the concentration camps, heinseight almost makes u forget they had absoloutely no idea that was happening untill they stumbled across it

Woods - Bastogne FFS

Did you know that the Easy Company of the 101st Airbourne Divison 506th Parachute Regiment won the entire war on there own?

Good series non the less, and a simular series is coming out about the Pacific war following the Marines, but did you know that the Americans won the war on their own.

December 11th 1941 was when Germany & Italy declared war on USA

We had been fighting Germany since the 3rd September 1939.

Nearly 2 years, in that time we managed to evacuate 300,000 soldiers from Dunkirk, defeat Rommel in Africa, beat the Luftwaffe in the skys over Great Britain, destroyed the German Navys flag ship (Graf Spee) and they are only a small minority of the things we managed to cope with before the mighty America came along to save us

PGTF, us and Russia would have eventually been able to beat Germany no problems.

Not to mention the mess the americans made at omaha.

Firing rockets in the sea, leaving their troops naked on the beach. Deplyoing the landing crafts with their tanks too early, meaning nearly their entire tank force sank. Killing all the crews inside.

They have just never been very good have they

They lack professionalism, they believe gun ho is the way forward.

American will soon have its day and will decline into a weak country simular to what happened to the USSR.

A friend of the family did some of the costume designs and got me a cap and easy company embroided badge that they sewed onto the jackets for the film
